What is ISMP?

International Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) is a nonprofit organization with a network of volunteer mentors and working professionals. We provide mentorship to international students helping them navigate through their college and graduate school experience at UBC.

What We Offer

  • Holiday Celebrations

    We celebrate holidays together: Lunar New Year, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more.

  • Practical Workshops

    Join our workshops where we cover helpful topics such as time management skills, interview prep, resume writing, career advice, finding a job/internship, interpersonal skills, and more!

  • English Cafe

    English Cafe is a safe space to practice English with our mentors with free snacks and refreshments.
