ISMP Korea (International Student Mentorship Program)는 미국 명문 대학 출신의 현직 글로벌 기업 종사자들로 구성된 교육 비영리 단체입니다. ISMP Korea는 학생들이 영어 회화 능력과 삶에 중요한 핵심 역량을 기를 수 있도록 다양한 멘토링 및 교육 프로그램을 제공합니다.

ISMP Korea의 대표 프로그램인 미영카는 4주간 진행되는 영어 프리토킹 프로그램으로, 한국 대학생들이 미국 멘토들과 매칭되어 자연스러운 영어 대화와 따뜻한 커뮤니티를 경험하는 모임입니다.

이번 모집은 미영카 수료생을 대상으로, ISMP의 비전과 가치를 캠퍼스 안에서 함께 확장해 나갈 ISMP Ambassador를 선발하기 위함입니다.

International Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) in Korea is a non-profit organization made up of working professionals who graduated from top schools in the U.S. and have experience working at large, international firms. ISMP Korea aims to provide resources for students in improving spoken English and important life skills. Our flagship program, Miyoungka (미영카), is a 4-week program that brings students together for personal growth, community, and English practice.

We are inviting Miyoungka Alumni to apply for the ISMP Ambassador position and partner with us in expanding ISMP’s impact across university campuses in Korea.

ISMP Ambassador는 미영카를 수료한 대학(원)생을 위한 리더십 포지션입니다.

ISMP Ambassador는 본인의 미영카 참여 경험을 바탕으로 ISMP Korea와 미영카를 다른 학생들에게 소개하고, 캠퍼스 내에서 ISMP의 인지도를 높이는 역할을 수행합니다.

※ 본 포지션은 재학생 또는 입학 예정자만 지원 가능하며, 학업과 병행할 수 있도록 유연하게 운영됩니다.

  • ① ISMP Korea 프로그램 및 이벤트 무료 참여

    • 미영카 2기 참가비 전액 면제

      • 미영카 4주 프로그램 참가비 50,000원

    • ISMP Korea 주최 이벤트 무료 참여

      • ISMP Monthly

      • 특강, 워크숍, 커뮤니티 모임 등

    • 국내 대학 학부 또는 대학원 재학생, 또는 6개월 이내 대학(학부/대학원) 입학 예정자

    활동 내용 및 시간

    • 총 활동 시간: 약 4시간 내외

      • 기획/아이디어 브레인스토밍 미팅 2회
        (회당 약 1시간)

      • 미영카 2기 소개 이벤트 참여

        • 일정: 2026년 3월 12일

        • 소요 시간: 약 2시간

    • 본인의 기존 네트워크를 활용하여 ISMP Korea 및 미영카 홍보

      • 친구, 동기, 학과, 동아리, 학생 단체 등

    • 미영카 참여 경험을 바탕으로 관심 있는 학생들에게 프로그램 소개

    • 캠퍼스 내 ISMP Korea 인지도 확산에 기여

    • 미영카 1기 이후에도 ISMP와 계속 함께하고 싶은 분

    • 사람을 연결하고 커뮤니티를 만드는 것을 좋아하는 분

    • 멘토링과 영어 사용 기회를 더 많이 경험하고 싶은 분

    • 의미 있는 학생 리더십 경험을 쌓고 싶은 분

미국에 있는 ISMP 네트워크와 연결되어 있었던 학생들을 대상으로, 서울에서 진행되는 미영카(Miyoungka) 프로그램에 함께 이끌어 갈 미영카 티칭 에이드(Miyoungka Teaching Aide) 지원자를 모집합니다.

We are inviting students who were connected with our ISMP Network in America to apply for the Miyoungka Teaching Aide position and partner with us by participating in our Miyoungka Program here in Seoul.

This role is ideal for students who:

  • Had a meaningful ISMP experience in the United States

  • Want to continue involvement in mentorship and community after returning to Korea

  • Desire the depth of conversations and professional growth opportunities through ISMP

Miyoungka Teaching Aide

Role Description

The Miyoungka(MYK) Teaching Aide role is a student position for individuals who participated in or were connected to ISMP while in the United States and want to remain engaged with the ISMP community after returning to Korea.

This role exists to ensure that the ISMP experience does not end when students return to their home country, but instead continues through mentorship, community, and shared growth in Korea.

Teaching Aides support the Miyoungka program and participate as members of the ISMP Korea community.

  • 1. Free Participation in Miyoungka

    • 100% waived participation fee Miyoungka (50,000 KRW)

    • Opportunity to meet other Korean university students from different campuses

    • Estimated time commitment:

      • Approximately 6 hours total over 4 weeks

    2. 1-on-1 Mentorship in Korea

    • Opportunity to connect with an ISMP Korea mentor for one-on-one mentorship

    • Sessions may include:

      • Life and career guidance

      • Personal growth and reflection

      • English conversation practice

    • Meetings available in person or via Zoom

    3. Continuation of the ISMP Experience

    • Continue experiencing the mentorship, community, and values encountered through ISMP in the U.S.

    • Maintain meaningful relationships beyond geographic location

    • Stay connected to a global ISMP network while living in Korea

    4. ISMP Monthlies Participation

    • Miyoungka Teaching Aides are encouraged to attend ISMP Monthlies

    • Opportunity to connect with:

      • ISMP mentors

      • Other students and alumni

    • A space to build ongoing community similar to ISMP gatherings in the U.S.

  • Eligibility Requirements

    • Must have been connected with the ISMP Network in the United States (through ISMP programs, mentorship, or community involvement)

    • Must be one of the following:

      • A current undergraduate or graduate student, or

      • A student who was an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of participation in ISMP in the U.S.

    • Desire to remain engaged with ISMP while living in Korea

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Miyoungka program as a Teaching Aide

    • Engage naturally with participants during program activities

    • Attend ISMP Events when possible
