Personal Mentorship

The International Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) is a six week 1-on-1 mentorship program where international students will be paired with a college graduate working professional. Our mentors are trained in a variety of topics to help international students adjust to and excel in their life in the US, with a Christian perspective.

What happens after I apply?

What topics are covered during mentorship?

You and your mentor will decide which topics you would like to cover and you’ll meet once a week. Some topics include:

  • Getting into US Colleges

  • Surviving the 1st Week and Month in the US

  • Study Skills

  • Resume/Interview Workshops

  • English Writing

  • Cooking & Healthy Habits

  • Mastering Small Talk With Americans

  • … and much more.

New topics are being created every month.

What happens after 6 weeks?
